History

For more than 60 years, Tahoe Parents Nursery School has been cultivating a spirit of community and emphasizing cooperation, sharing, and forming friendships for our children.

Teachers

Tahoe Parents Nursery School is a parent participation preschool. Under the guidance of our school Director and two lead teachers, parents work closely with the children.

Co-Op

TPNS is a parent participation preschool. Parent education is an equally important part of the program.

Our Approach

TPNS children learn in a relaxed environment that emphasizes cooperation, sharing and forming friendships. The students have the time and space to grow surrounded by caring adults. Parents spend one day each week in the classroom. The hands-on curriculum offers language, literature, motor skills, music, science, art and cooking.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is simple - "together we’re better". For more than 55 years, Tahoe Parents Nursery School has been cultivating a spirit of community and emphasizing cooperation, sharing, and forming friendships for our children. We believe: Offering a stimulating educational environment rich in music, art, language, literacy, science, dramatic play, motor skills, and outdoor activities will encourage physical, social, emotional, and cognitive skill growth within our children.
