Who We Are
Leslie Amato
Director
In November of 2017, Leslie started her position as the LTCC Director of Child Development Programs overseeing TPNS as well as the LTCC CDC. As part of her first year responsibilities she worked in the classroom (replacing Teacher Aileen who retired) before fully assuming her Director role. She feels blessed to be a part of such an amazing group of families, tradition and support as "Together We're Better" truly describes our mission with one another.
Jennifer David
Lead Teacher
Jennifer David has had a variety of experiences working with young children for over 20 years. Jennifer received her Associates degree from Lake Tahoe Community College in 1994, since then she has worked as a Lead Teacher in a Preschool program, owned and operated an in-home daycare and has worked at the Elementary school level. Her experience also includes working as a parent at TPNS for 4 years while her children attended the preschool. Jennifer strongly supports the cooperative preschool, she believes it is a unique experience that brings together the community, parents, children and teachers to work together and provide a rich learning environment. Her love for teaching is evident in her creativity, enthusiasm and her gentle guidance of the children. Jennifer’s ability to support and guide children encourages their experiences and exploration.
